A Gray Wolf in the mountains

This picture provided by the US Fishing and Wildlife Service shows a Gray Wolf in the mountains of Idaho. Several environmental groups filed a legal complaint to force the federal government to put the wolf back on the list of endangered species, claiming some states were allowing indiscriminate killing of the animal.
